Eating well is part of any vacation!

At the Le Grand Cerf campsite near Hauterives, La Table du Grand Cerf is much more than just a campsite restaurant.

Former restaurateurs in Les Deux-Alpes, our managers have brought with them their passion for home cooking and local produce.

The result? An authentic, warm address open to all – campsite residents and outside customers alike – for sharing a good meal in a convivial atmosphere.

Whether you’re on the terrace overlooking nature, or indoors in the cosy dining room, there’s always room for you and your loved ones.

Our Grand-Serre restaurant can accommodate up to 40 people indoors and 80 on the terrace.

At La Table du Grand Cerf, the cuisine is generous, sincere and rooted in the Drôme hills. Every weekday lunchtime, a dish of the day is offered – simple, hearty and carefully prepared. The à la carte menu, meanwhile, gives pride of place to revisited classics and local specialities:

  • Home-made pizzas (to eat in or take away)
  • Fresh and generous salads
  • Ravioles du Dauphiné
  • Home-made burger
  • Brasérade – the house specialty, not to be missed!

Children’s menus are also available. The menu changes slightly with the seasons, depending on the produce available. Vegetarian options on the menu – don’t hesitate to ask.

Payment can be made by credit card, cash or vacation vouchers. It’s best to book your table for dinner, especially in high season.

Grand-Serre bar for breakfast and aperitifs

The Grand Cerf bar is the life of the campsite! Open from morning to night, it sets the pace for the vacation days of our residents and visitors alike. Take time for a coffee in the morning, a fruit juice after the Swimming pool or a well-deserved cocktail at aperitif time. The icing on the cake is that you can treat yourself to a gourmet break every day in summer, and during restaurant opening hours the rest of the year: from tasty, crispy waffles to a variety of ice creams in tubs or cones, you’ll be spoilt for choice! In the evening, the bar remains open for entertainment and theme evenings – the perfect opportunity to prolong good times in good company. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, in keeping with the spirit of the Grand Cerf. A welcoming terrace awaits you to enjoy the mild evenings of the Drôme hills.

Throughout July and August, La Table du Grand Cerf pulls out all the stops, with themed evenings that are sure to please:

Mussels and French fries: a generous, convivial classic to share with family and friends around a large table. All-you-can-eat mussels, home fries – an evening that smells just like the vacations! Booking essential.
